Cross ankle. I did a one-hand plank to a cross ankle :)
Tips and tricks in doing a cross-ankle (based on my experience):
- tense every muscle in your legs from thigh to feet
- it helps if you tense and squeeze your butt cheeks too! this should also help shape your bottom :P
- squeeze with all your might
- don’t hesitate when you release
- practice low first if you fear falling down
- if you’re doing this for the first time, you should have a mat below and a spotter
- SAFETY FIRST!
- I find this trick easier to do than one-hand plank. Both tricks require you to trust your thighs
- Doing lunges to strengthen your thighs will be helpful
