The Cross Ankle



Cross ankle. I did a one-hand plank to a cross ankle :)

Tips and tricks in doing a cross-ankle (based on my experience):
  • tense every muscle in your legs from thigh to feet
  • it helps if you tense and squeeze your butt cheeks too! this should also help shape your bottom :P
  • squeeze with all your might
  • don’t hesitate when you release
  • practice low first if you fear falling down
  • if you’re doing this for the first time, you should have a mat below and a spotter
  • SAFETY FIRST!
  • I find this trick easier to do than one-hand plank. Both tricks require you to trust your thighs
  • Doing lunges to strengthen your thighs will be helpful
